  1. Its not the time for fresh squeezed gluten free non GMO orange juice. Get yall some Sunny D at the dollar store and call it good!

  2. The same media channels that profit from turning off the economy also profit from the stories of grief and horror from a crushed economy. Disgusting.

  3. My husband and myself are getting no salary end of April, I don’t know if I should cry or be happy but my husband is EXTREMELY positive and I seem to be the only one stressing

  4. It’s terrible for any parent have to deal with the idea of not being able to provide for their children. At the same time, maybe the silver lining of this experience is people will learn to manage their finances better. Have a 6 month emergency fund, spend money on things that make you happy and not other things, don’t live beyond your means.

  5. I thought because of the COVID-19 everybody’s UD will be Automatically approved or is that in California. I thank God that the state has been really helpful in putting money into peoples accounts but I thought it was a mandatory unemployment guaranteed

  6. I would have LOVED to have at least 3 children BUT Certain circumstances prohibited 🚫 and father figure was ABSOLUTELY Not in ANY POSITION to give them the life they so deserved. I “ REFUSE ‘ to mooch nor ask for govt. assistance programs …… THEREFORE chose 1 child , IM extremely happy ( it’s not about me) because fortunately I CAN supply him with all necessities” provided’’ I work 50 plus hours every week consistently. College at Penn State paid , vehicle , health ins. Etc. Single moms with deadbeat dads … limit yourself to 1 or 2 children …. basically what YOU can afford . Please don’t bring your children up in poverty as it’s not fair TO them!

  7. Rushing the workers back for corporate profits so the workers don’t notice that there are no safety measures going to be in place guaranteed by employers for employee’s safety; and there won’t be any guarantee by the federal government that workers will not get ill and die due to negligence and lack of safety features by the federal government. Remember how Trump DEFUNDED infection controls in businesses and nursing homes –2017,- workers are humans too, not just to be used for corporate profits.

  8. Go work for Door Dash delivering groceries. The government needs to replace your paychecks without any taxes. stop taxing groceries.

  9. I don’t know if you guys noticed, but they are buying “organic “ produces, WTF?!! They are definitely not budgeting correctly or have lived a lavish lifestyle for too long and it’s hard to change now. TOTAL BULLSHIT. SMH

  10. MY HEART goes out to those who are struggling in this turmoil time.
I am one of the fortunate one , despite what’s going , I am able to maintain my upper middle class lifestyle , and I am VERY GRATEFUL for that , and I am thankful every day.
I don’t have children and anybody who depends on me , so that’s one of the reasons I am able to keep things moving for me.

  11. I feel bad for all families married or not! This needs to be handled some how with some kind of real government! Trump really needs to step up to the plate!! Stop trying to play like your a God and do the Job they voted you to do!!!!

  12. and then you discover you have lots of stuff you do not really need in your daily life, and that you can eat healthy and simply, and kids don’t need really lemonade, or juices, or candy or processes foods. Water is the best to rehydrate, you want juice, make it yourself. There are many solutions when you really look out for them….we are looking at economic decay, not the other way around, that is over…

  13. This feeling is something I have lived with all my adult life I’m 61. It’s not easy to live this way. My advice is to liquidate and get to a very low to zero overhead and zero dept.

  14. This is heart breaking and infuriating at the same time if the Chinese Authorities would have listen to their Medical Professionals it could of been handled better the Chinese Authorities haven’t apologise in fact they blamed the U.S. and Italy they manipulate currency steal intelligent property human rights abuse etc I realize it’s a challenge but please people try not to buy Chinese goods it didn’t have to be this way

  15. They live north of SF!! They have more money than 2/3 of Americans. They do not represent most of Americans who are truly struggling to put food on the table . What a waste of an interview!!!

  16. I wonder what the income inequality gap is between the Nightline reporter and anyone of the folks he interviews? The reporter never mentions that the Democrats are holding up the $250 billion add to the PPP pot of money that would go directly to small businesses and their employees. And is that reporter’s job in anyway considered “essential”?

  17. 💣💥The richest country in the world but cant help out its citizens for a few month do to a emergency WOW!!. Are we even getting a second stimulus check???

  18. Stop showing these publicity seeking losers. They are more than well off. Look at their homes and all their material possessions. All they want is to get on tv and get sympathy and get free money. That dude in the beginning does not have a single strand of hair out of place. Where the hell did he get a hair cut from?… All barber shops are closed right now. Eff them!

Show real families that are in trouble.

  19. i see some things that say- I lived a buy whatever, eat meals out, get what want type of lifestyle with this video. I think they are kind of not knowing how to navigate living so frugally right now. I know from experience what it takes to live bare bones. They are not there yet. I think they can manage this. I know it’s hard but I see some choices that put them in that place

  20. How can u adopt FOUR children n b in a financial meltdown after 4 weeks being outta work? #shittyparenting….facts!!

  21. If you live in such nice homes, drive expensive cars…how do you not have emergency money set away, especially with several children to care for? For now, this is no different than someone suffering a back injury or something else that would lay them out for 2+ months…and they’re already struggling?

  22. Should have thought of this before buying a $2000 sleeve of tattoos. The playing field is now being leveled globally & all of those that have judged others in the past for financially falling behind WILL NOW BE THOSE VERY PEOPLE THEY JUDGED. Your 100’s of pairs of shoes are now meaningless. Your fancy cars, your tattoos, your makeup, sports jerseys etcetera…DO NOT MEAN A F*CKING THING.

  23. I have 2 kids in , Im doing just fine. I live in LA. Rent 2500 my monthly income is 4K. People are sad. trying to asked for free money noooooo RALPHS VONS LANDSCAPE GO WORK THEY ARE HIRING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  24. It’s funny how people are now getting a glimpse on what is actually like to be poor . because before the pandemic everybody was struggling to put food on the table or to pay a bill / rent . you got some people living in a car because they couldn’t afford to live in their own house. So this is not something new you just got a taste of what reality looks like and now people don’t like it because they’re having to give up what are used to living . this is a learning lesson to everybody to think poor people are lazy and can’t seem to do anything with their lives.

  25. But let’s bail out the airlines Boeing and Ruth Chris steakhouse…then cut off stimulus for half the country. Everyone except citizens

  26. Go out there and find another job. I have no sympathy for yall. Get over it!! This happens to black all the time and that’s what whites and other majorities tell us so…..you do the same. Go to Save and alot and and family dollar if you aren’t scared to the hood!!

  27. FAITH?…with all those tears? Okay… I’ve never seen faith with so much fear.

I DO hope they’re able to provide for those adorable kids.

  29. Dude, chill he could of bought some kool aide packages for like 19 cent’s each and some sugar, you got water at home boom koolaide for a few weeks not healthy enough? Dilute it with more water. Smfh

  30. I’m a recent graduate and was very lucky to have my part time job I had in school be able to give me full time hours.. and my partner laid off we would be in the same position as these hard working families if that hadn’t happened. Love the color kits to go idea!

  31. 3/4 of these people need mental help my grandparents lived on 500 calories a day with no electric or running water lived to be 95 with an amazing life stop complaining

  32. I get what people are saying when they say these people “don’t look poor”. I saw that as well. But then… having lived
in that same status myself… I can attest that the nice looking
apartment and all that… it’s an illusion.

The way the economy is structured in the USA, those people may appear to be doing ok, but the
reality is, they may be one paycheck away from not making that month’s
rent. So they can go from that place to sleeping in their car… Then,
if things go worse, they sell their car to buy food and that’s when the
system really drives you into the dirt. It’s not like Australia or
France where you can’t be made homeless really fast.

People deserve nice things. I lived in a van for 2 years. I still had a laptop and a phone because those are necessities. And those are the key to getting yourself out of that situation so yes, people deserve nice things.

The people whom I served in the soup kitchens had good cel phones as well. I cannot judge. If you lose your house, you just don’t lose everything overnight. You hold onto the things that can perhaps save you and be your lifeline to getting out of the situation. A Cell phone and a laptop are some of the things that you get rid of last only when the apocalypse comes.
